I knew I should not have complained about the weather. Today the Atlantic weather system that has been moving across the country has really arrived in the Mid West and winter arrived in Chicago. It has been -1 (or about 30) degrees. (I am still not sure which system to use! Which one sounds colder?)

Today has been a grey, wet but very warm Chicago day. It has been nearly 60 degrees which is ridiculous for this time of year. Last year, it was 30 degrees or so. However, it will be getting colder by Thursday. They have forecast for us to receive the snow that is currently heading eastwards [...]
