I was looking through my photos the other day and realized I never posted pictures from the family fun-feast that was our 4th July.
If you remember, we were relaxing in the ‘burbs for the 4th. We made it to the local fields just in time to witness the last two boat races of the day. As far as we could tell the point was to make it around a moored landing, and back to the small beach.
Some were more successful at this than others.
But I’m pretty sure that it increased everyone’s appetite for pulled pork sandwiches and hot dogs.
Incidentally, if you decide to wear a white top and then choose to eat florescent orange pork sandwiches, it would be advisable to have packed a bleach pen in your purse. Or be prepared to be mocked all afternoon. Still, if this is the one day you’ve forgotten said genius invention, you can be sure that sandwich is worth it!
